Gayle Taylor and Serena Abbinga established Serengale Vineyard and Winery in 1999 at the foothills of the Victorian Alps in Beechworth. Serengale Vineyard is a five star Halliday Wine Companion winery and was in the top ten new Wineries for 2020.
Their wine is sourced only from our vineyard from selected handpicked bunches using wild yeast, gentle handling, unfiltered, low intervention wine making techniques. Gayle focuses on expressing the season, the variety and the select areas of the vineyard, to make hand crafted wines that reflect a sense of place and season.
The cellar door experience is set within the winery, where you can taste their wines surrounded by the ambiance of the wines maturing in the best french oak barrels, looking out over the vineyard from where it all starts.
